What better way to remember, remember the fifth of November than to watch a spectacular firework display with friends and family this year? Our team are excited to end 2018 with a bang, after all the success jisp has had in Staines, Southampton, Windsor and Chelmsford! Whether you’re a retailer with jisp, or an avid user of the app, we wouldn’t want you missing out on the celebrations, so read on to see the displays being held in your area. Or if you’re looking to venture out to a new location this year, we’ve added a handful of extra bonfire displays in the UK that may be of interest!

Windsor

Fireworks & Music Spectacular!
Royal Windsor Racecourse
Saturday 3rd November 2018
Opens - 16:00, display - 18:30

For those horror lovers looking to extend the Halloween holiday, make sure to attend Windsor’s fangtastic racecourse this year where the firework display theme will be based around spooky movies, including, Ghostbusters, Scooby Doo, Saw, The Addams Family and Psycho!

Expect a combination of family fun and thrills with activities such as, face and body art, themed funfair, games area, interactive zones, tasty treats, The Ghostbusters Ecto-1 1959 Cadillac and so much more. There’s also the chance to win a trick or treat surprise for anyone who books a ticket or package before 12pm on Friday 2nd November (four people could even win £500!).  If you haven’t had enough fun by the end of the night, you can even book tickets to a spooky extra activity once the display has finished. This includes driving over to the outdoor cinema and watching the original Ghostbusters film from the comfort of your own car.

2018 LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Fireworks

If you already have other plans the weekend all the displays are being held, then you’re in luck with Legoland. The park is holding firework displays on several days leading up to bonfire night, so you could even visit more than once! Legoland is perfect if you’re looking for a family orientated atmosphere and a day full of activities before watching the sky light up with colours. Prepare to be impressed with the park’s twist, guests will see the fireworks turn into exploding Lego bricks while wearing special glasses.

The cost of the display can seem pricey but is included in with admission to the park and all its wonders- amazing news for all of you with an annual pass!

Southampton

Mayflower Park Fireworks
Mayflower Park, Southampton
Saturday 3rd November 2018
Opens - 3pm, display - 7:45pm

This display is perfect if you’re looking to make a day of the celebrations with an earlier finish, whether that be because you’re bringing children or because you need to make it back to watch The X Factor… Gates open at 3pm, where visitors can enjoy a fun fair until live entertainment begins at 6pm. Mayflower’s display is hosted by Southampton Round Table and starts at 7:45pm. Tickets are fairly cheap, and proceeds go to charities in the Southampton area.

Fireworks Night Extravaganza
Totton and Eling Cricket Club Cricket Club, Southampton
Sunday 4th November 2018
Opens - 4:30pm, display - 6:30pm

Totton and Eling Cricket Club are holding a fantastic firework display to keep the whole family entertained for hours. The night will include; a host DJ, fairground rides and stalls suitable for children, inside and outside bars, a hog roast and BBQ, and more! Make the most of the pre-display entertainment by arriving from 4:30pm and grabbing a hot refreshment as you enjoy the fun atmosphere.

Staines

The Greatest Fireworks Show
Kempton Park Racecourse
Saturday 3rd November 2018
Opens - 5pm, display - 7pm

This popular display is located just outside of Staines but is worth the short journey! Kempton Park Racecourse will be transformed to feel like visitors have just stepped into the world of The Greatest Showman. This exciting evening will not only have a remarkable firework display set to songs from the film and circus theme tunes, but also; performers, a funfair, DJ, food and drink. The event continues until 10pm, so round up the gang and make a night of it.

Chelmsford

Chelmsford Round Table Fireworks

Chelmsford’s amazing annual firework display has been keeping families entertained for 42 years! Join the locals for a family friendly evening full of exciting entertainment, a wide range of delicious food and drink stalls, fairground rides and of course the firework display to end the night with a bang. There’s also brand new entertainment this year, five finalists will perform in ‘The FireworkX Factor’ where the public can vote for their favourite to win!

Once again, Chelmsford Fireworks will be giving all money raised directly to local charities and are aspiring to beat last year’s record of £30K raised!

Best of British Fireworks Spectacular,
Drayton Manor Theme Park, Staffordshire

For the thrill seekers looking for a day full of entertainment, be sure to visit Drayton Manor Theme Park where you can spend hours screaming on roller-coasters and exploring 15 acres of an open plan zoo! When darkness hits, get ready for more fun as the park has organised a red, white and blue themed fireworks display set to classic British music, from Queen to The Beatles.

Tutbury Castle Vikings and Firework Spectacular

Are you ready for action and entertainment? Voted as one of the best firework displays in the UK, Tutbury Castle is back with not only their fantastic fireworks, but an incredible moonlit battle of the Vikings, concluding in a Viking funeral! There’s lots for the whole family to do, including visiting a living history camp, relaxing in a tearoom, a bar to warm up the adults and a BBQ to fill up after battle!

Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations
Lewes, East Sussex

If you’re looking for something a little more dangerous without children, this is the display for you. Be prepared for burning crosses carried around the town (in memory of the 17 Lewes Maryrs), along with ‘Guy Fawkes’ being thrown into a fire. It is the only bonfire night festivity left of its kind in the UK, with a great deal of health and safety warnings! Don’t worry, there’s lots of pubs to hide in if you get scared on the way.

Firework Festival Weekend
West Midland Safari Park Firework Display, Herefordshire

10-11th November 2018
6:30pm


Celebrate bonfire night by taking the family to visit the animals of West Midland Safari Park! Guests can explore the park from 1pm, visiting areas such as, the Sea Lion Show, Land of the Living Dinosaurs, and Mark O’Shea’s Reptile World. Be ready for amazing fireworks and tasty refreshments at 6.30pm, before heading back to the park to enjoy late night rides and Discovery Trail exhibits! The bonfire won’t be the only thing roaring at this display.
