Celebrating the Royal Wedding in Style
Who’s excited for the Royal Wedding!? It’ll be a royal weekend to remember, with red, blue and white plastered across every pub, store, and (some) living rooms across England. The jisp app is live in Windsor, so our sales representatives have experienced first-hand how much planning and excitement there is leading up to the wedding! For those wanting to get royally geared up, here are a few stores that are just as excited about Harry and Meghan’s big day as we are.
You’re welcome is all I can say. With gifts ranging from a ‘Sparkle like Markle’ notebook, a huge range of mugs, bags, bunting and key-rings, and of course the ‘Royal Wedding for Dummies’ book - The Works have really outdone themselves. And I for one, cannot wait to use my new Royal Wedding 2018 Souvenir Teaspoon.
Going for a slightly different approach, Waitrose have compiled their Royal Wedding section into three inviting categories; ‘Serve your own royal feast’, ‘Celebrate with afternoon tea’ and ‘Raise a glass to the happy couple’. This tasteful approach sees a huge array of appetising barbecue food, delicious cakes and tarts, and (the crucial ingredient to every British event) plenty of offers on beer, wine and spirits. Cheers.
I must confess, Asda has always been my go to for last-minute public holiday deals. And although you can’t question the quality of the ‘George Home Union Jack Mug’, it’s pretty obvious this stock is on sale all year round. The George UK mug is currently sat on my desk, bought last year. Saying this, I sure would love to change the channel using this awesome Union Jack Remote Control, along with other cool UK themed gifts available at Asda!
John Lewis are renowned for their unique, slightly quirky yet high-quality gifts. 70% of my Christmas presents were purchased from John Lewis and I am yet to receive negative feedback. Once again, John Lewis has not disappointed by coming through with some really cool ‘Milly Green’ themed gifts and some royal wedding worthy Ginger Ray Royal ‘Party like Royalty’ foiled plates!
Collaborations like John Lewis and Milly Green is one of the many reasons why jisp celebrates the high street. We’d love to hear how your friends and family are getting involved with the royal wedding, especially if you’re attending a street party! I, personally, already know what I will be wearing for the event.
